Colgate University, B.A. (English Literature); Seacoast Center, AMS Teaching Certificate, ages 6-12

Rick has been teaching at the Upper Elementary level at Stoneridge since 2001. He has also served as a soccer coach at the School for the past six years. His previous teaching experience includes a year teaching Language Arts at Landmark High School and a stint as a long-term substitute for the Boston Public Schools.

Prior to teaching, Rick worked for Chase Manhattan Bank in Manhattan. He has lived and worked in New York City, San Francisco, Boston, Colorado, and North Carolina. He now resides in Beverly, MA with his family. Rick’s daughter was a happy and engaged student at Stoneridge from Kindergarten through sixth grade. Some of Rick’s interests include travel, reading, soccer, yoga, drama, and spending time with his family.
