Stoneridge Scholars Program
SSP Application Process
Parents will apply to the School for their child in the regular fashion (see Admission Process). In addition, applicants will:
a) submit an essay (or equivalent) that they have written, and
b) identify one teacher (current year or last year’s) who will act as their “sponsoring teacher” by filling out a questionnaire about the student.
From the group of students who apply to the SSP, about a dozen will be invited to become “SSP finalists.” These finalists will:
a) spend a full day at the school,
b) be interviewed for 20 minutes by one or more Stoneridge faculty, plus a Stoneridge student.
